Leapmotor extended its record-breaking growth in June, delivering 93,376 vehicles worldwide, up 95% from a year earlier and setting a new monthly high. The performance pushed first-half deliveries to 356,487 units, reinforcing the Chinese EV maker's position as one of the industry's fastest-growing brands.
Overseas Business Becomes a Key Growth Engine
The company's international expansion is gathering pace. Overseas deliveries approached 100,000 units during the first half of 2026, accounting for approximately 27% of total deliveries. While China's domestic market continues to provide a solid foundation, accelerating overseas demand is becoming an increasingly important driver of Leapmotor's global strategy.
From 1 Million to 1.5 Million in Just Eight Months
Leapmotor has now surpassed 1.5 million cumulative vehicle deliveries, highlighting the speed of its expansion. The company spent 64 months reaching its first 500,000 deliveries. In contrast, it required only eight months to increase cumulative deliveries from 1 million to 1.5 million, underscoring the rapid acceleration of production and market demand.
Fastest-Growing Chinese EV Startup
The company first exceeded 80,000 monthly deliveries in May before raising the bar again in June. Overseas sales also surpassed 20,000 units, reflecting improving brand recognition outside China. Supported by a broader product portfolio and expanding international operations, Leapmotor ranked first among China's emerging EV startups in June and stood out as the month's biggest growth story.
Global Expansion Enters a New Phase
With domestic sales remaining resilient and exports gaining momentum, Leapmotor is steadily transforming from a China-focused automaker into a global EV brand. Sustained growth in Europe and other international markets suggests the company's globalization strategy is beginning to deliver meaningful results, providing a stronger platform for its next phase of expansion.
