By August 2026, BYD's dedicated automotive shipping fleet has reached a new milestone, with eight customized large-scale vehicle carriers supporting the company's global expansion strategy. Together, the fleet provides annual transportation capacity exceeding one million vehicles, creating one of the largest manufacturer-controlled logistics networks in the global electric vehicle industry.

Unlike traditional automakers that rely primarily on third-party shipping providers, BYD is developing a vertically integrated export infrastructure that connects vehicle production, maritime transportation and overseas distribution. The fleet allows BYD to better manage delivery schedules, reduce exposure to shipping market volatility and strengthen supply chain resilience as overseas EV demand grows.
