BYD’s Sweden sales remained on a strong upward track in June 2026, with monthly registrations rising to 365 units, up about 350% from a year earlier.
The result marks another high point for BYD in Sweden after a sharp acceleration in the first half of 2026. Song Plus remained the brand’s core volume model, while Atto 2, Sealion 07 and Seal helped broaden BYD’s local product mix.
Although BYD’s market share is still modest compared with larger European brands, the rapid year-on-year growth shows that Sweden is becoming another important Nordic test market for the Chinese automaker’s European expansion.
