Tesla sold 12,173 vehicles, helped by 6,765 Model Y registrations and 5,408 Model 3 registrations, while Chery reached 13,590 units after a surge led by the Jaecoo 7 plug-in hybrid.
BYD’s performance reflects a broader shift in the UK market. SAIC, Chery, Leapmotor, Geely, Xpeng and Changan all appeared in the June rankings, suggesting Chinese brands are no longer competing only at the margins.
